On April 4th we released a blog article on the fast-approaching end of life for PHP 7.4.  Your website is currently running on PHP 7.4 and needs to be updated so that it will continue to function on the new PHP 8.0.

We wish to upgrade your PHP version before November 1st, 2022, as the active support for your current version will end on November 11th, 2022. When a PHP version reaches its end of life, updates cease, therefore exposing your website to exploitation by malicious code and hacking.

To prevent downtime or errors on your website, we will need to schedule a walkthrough of your website on our development server using PHP 8.0 to identify any possible issues so that we can rectify them. Unlike the last minor release in 2020 from PHP 7.3 to 7.4, this update is considered a major release, which can in some cases involve a considerable number of updates if your website has not been redesigned in the last two years.

If we detect any incompatibilities with your website during our testing, we will contact you to schedule a walkthrough of the issues. We would like to have walkthroughs completed by Friday, July 29th. We anticipate up to 1 hour for the walkthrough. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
